Where am I? was born from a reflection on the individual in contemporary society. It comprises a series of photographs taken in various European cities.

Each person carries a unique world within themselves, complete with their own soul, background, hopes, experiences, and memories. Yet, in the streets of any city, the individual blends into a confused crowd, stripped of their nature and seemingly becoming an unidentified shadow without identity.

Swarms of people move frantically to the rhythm of an imaginary clock. In this constant race to the unknown, we progressively move away from our essence, driven towards virtual and ephemeral realities. Hence, shadows become the person themselves—indefinable and confused among reflections of their own self. The black-and-white aesthetic seeks to evoke the anonymity of public spaces and the alienation of the individual as they navigate through them.
